Data Director

The Kentucky Democratic Party is seeking an experienced Data Director to manage the state party’s data operations. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking leader committed to building a field organizing and turnout operation that will work alongside the coordinated campaign to power Democrats to victory up and down the ballot in 2023, including reelecting Governor Andy Beshear, and work with our candidates and campaigns as they ramp up for the 2024 election.

Responsibilities

• Administer the party’s voter and volunteer databases in VoteBuilder
• Enforce data integrity and best practices within VoteBuilder
• Respond to data support requests, questions, and flags
• Administer third-party texting and dialer tools, and interface with vendors as needed
• Develop and present training materials on VoteBuilder
• Make recommendations on targeting and universe design
• Produce reports and maps for stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Previously held data position on a Democratic campaign or committee
• At least 1 cycle of field campaign experience
• Expert-level skills with VoteBuilder and Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools
• SQL and programming skills are a plus
• Must have access to a cell phone and vehicle

The salary range for this full-time position is $48,000 to $55,000 with 100% employer-paidhealth insurance. This is an in-person position based in Frankfort, Kentucky.
