Operations Assistant

The Kentucky Democratic Party Coordinated Campaign 2023 is seeking an Operations Assistant to assist with the campaign’s day-to-day functions. We are looking for a passionate, hardworking leader committed to building a field organizing and turnout operation that will power Democrats to victory up and down the ballot in 2023, including reelecting Governor Andy Beshear.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations Director to to handle employee onboarding and payroll
• Interface with supporters to provide housing for staff and volunteers
• Assist with locating additional campaign offices
• Collaborate with field staff to address logistical needs
• Representing the Democratic Party and candidates
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 cycle of field campaign experience
• Exceptionally well-organized with intense attention to detail
• Able to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a cell phone and vehicle

The salary for this position is $4,100 per month, with 100% employer-paid health insurance. This position is full time through the 2023 General Election. This is an in-person position and will require relocation to Louisville, KY. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis for a start date as soon as July 17.
