KDP Applauds Pre-K for All Initiative

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement, applauding Kentucky’s top Democrats for launching the “Pre-K for All” initiative — a plan to get more Kentucky kids kindergarten-ready:

“When Kentucky kids thrive, Kentucky thrives. We applaud Governor Beshear, First Lady Beshear and Lieutenant Governor Coleman for taking concrete action to address the achievement gap that too many of our children face. Their announcement couldn’t come at a more important time, with Kentucky Republicans pushing  massive cuts to education that will hold  our Commonwealth back for generations. The KDP is proud to stand with the Beshear-Coleman administration as they help ensure that every Kentucky child is provided with the tools they need to succeed.
