KDP Chair: When You Lose Your Health Care, Remember Brett Guthrie’s Name

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement on Congressman Brett Guthrie’s shameful role in stripping health care from more than 10 million Americans:

“Congressman Guthrie was elected to represent Kentuckians, including the one in three people — and half of all children — who depend on Medicaid for health care. Today, he betrayed his constituents by voting to strip coverage from millions of vulnerable Americans, all to serve billionaires who are looking for tax breaks. When Kentuckians lose lifesaving care and rural hospitals close, Brett Guthrie and his cowardice will be to blame.
