KDP Statement on Ralph Alvarado Declining Trump Rally Invite

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, in response to Republican candidate for Congress Ralph Alvarado confirming he will not attend President Trump’s upcoming midterm rally in Northern Kentucky, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement:

“Ralph Alvarado started his campaign ‘day one MAGA, no regrets’ and ‘not afraid to show support for President Trump.’ Now, he’s clearly terrified. And he should be.

“Voters know the Trump-backed tariffs, healthcare cuts and Iran war Alvarado says he ‘fully support[s]’ have made life too expensive, and Zach Dembo is the only candidate who will give Kentuckians the representation they deserve as Democrats fight in Congress to lower costs.”
