KDP Statement on September Inflation Report

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, in response to the latest U.S. inflation report, which shows price hikes continuing to escalate as a result of President Trump’s Iran War and Republican trade policies, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement:

“Every day, Kentuckians feel the pain caused by GOP leadership when they fill up their gas tanks, buy groceries and need to see a doctor.

“What have Republicans promised to do about the price hikes they caused? Nothing but ‘exactly’ what they've ‘already been doing’ — supporting chaotic trade policies, extreme healthcare cuts and foreign wars with no oversight.

“Kentuckians deserve better than the same costly agenda, and Democrats stand ready to deliver.”
