KDP Statement on Zach Dembo’s 6th Congressional District Victory

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Today, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement on Democrat Zach Dembo’s victory over Ralph Alvarado in the race for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District:

“Zach Dembo’s win is a historic victory not just for Democrats but for Kentuckians who are desperate for real representation in Congress. Zach will protect and improve access to healthcare, hold Trump accountable for his illegal tax on Americans and his Iran War, and bring to the Capitol a career’s worth of experience fighting corruption.

“With the 6th District flipped, we look forward to headlines reporting soon that the U.S. House has done the same, and Americans can look forward to a Congress that respects the Constitution and focuses on making life better for families.”
