KDP Statement on WDKY’s 6th Congressional District Debate

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Today, Kentucky Democratic Party (KDP) Chair Colmon Elridge released the following statement on Democrat Zach Dembo’s decisive victory in WDKY’s 6th Congressional District debate:

“What 6th District voters saw tonight was Zach Dembo outshining a corrupt politician who openly admits he has no idea what groceries cost. Clearly, Zach is the only candidate in this race listening to Central Kentucky families and taking their struggles seriously.

“We expect more lies and flip-flopping from ‘day one MAGA, no regrets’ Alvarado as 6th District voters realize they don’t have to settle for Matt Bevin’s former running mate, who’s faced allegations of bribery and self-dealing in every job he’s had since 2004.”

“When Kentuckians flip this district blue, they’ll be electing a public servant with years of experience fighting corruption and defending Americans. Zach will fight for you the way he fought to uphold our Constitution.”
